Event Overview
The CWES - ShellRockin' Loop is an exciting trail running event taking place on December 31, 2025. This self-supported adventure takes participants through the stunning Pasayten Wilderness in Mazama, WA.
Participants are encouraged to capture their journey and share their experiences through various multimedia platforms.
Event Features:
- 42 Mile loop with approximately 14,000 ft of elevation gain.
- No course markings or aid stations.
- Participants can run solo or with friends, and there are no time cutoffs.
Trail Description:
ShellRockin' is a remote loop with a challenging 7 mile off-trail segment. Excellent navigation skills are required, and it is recommended to complete the loop counter-clockwise.
For safety, participants should prepare for steep terrain, possible snow, and carry necessary gear such as traction devices and navigation tools.
