About the Event
Emporia Freedom Fest 2025
The Emporia Freedom Fest 2025 Run-Ride-Ruck-Release and Recognize! is a series of community events bringing together people of all ages to enjoy the outdoors, exercise, mingle and honor all Veterans and their families. This event provides annual charitable support to the Emporia All Veterans Memorial; the 137th & 635th Regimental Scholarship Fund, North Lyon County Veterans Memorial Fund, USD 252 South Lyon County Honor Flight program, and the KSARNG Enlisted Association Programs.
Virtual events start on Patriots Day (September 11th) and end on Veterans Day (November 11th). On-site events are held on November 9th, 2024 at the Emporia All Veterans Memorial. More details on each event can be found at emporiafreedomfest.org.
Events include:
- Run: 5K Freedom Run
- Ride: 25-mile and 52-mile Freedom Rides
- Ruck: Vigilance Martial Arts/EANGKS Norwegian Ruck March
