Flint Hills 50 and Marathon

Event Details

The Flint Hills 50 and Marathon takes place on Saturday, April 12, 2025. The race starts and finishes at the Green Valley Community Center at 3770 Green Valley Rd, Manhattan, KS.

Race Information

• 50 Miler: Start time is 7:00 AM, with a cut-off time of 14 hours.
• Marathon: Starts at 7:30 AM, with a cut-off time of 13.5 hours.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will be available on Friday, April 12th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Manhattan Running Company (1129 Garden Way, Manhattan, KS 66502) and on race day from 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM at the Start/Finish line.

Course Description

The Marathon is a single loop of 26.2 miles with 4 aid stations, while the 50-mile race features two loops of 25 miles each with 5 aid stations per loop. This course is known for its elevation change of over 2000 feet per loop. Participants can look forward to food and drink after the race.

Awards

Each finisher receives a customized finisher’s belt buckle. Winners will receive a painted rock from the course, and those completing the race 5 times will receive a unique painted rock with years completed.

• 50 Miler: $105.01 (increases to $123.37 after December 31)
• Marathon: $105.01 (increases to $123.37 after December 31)
