Lace up and join us for the 2ND Annual Gateway Jingle Jog 5K - a festive race hosted by Gateway Church and Gateway Services CDD Parks & Recreation. Whether you’re a seasoned runner aiming for a new PR or a family looking to enjoy a fun and meaningful holiday event together, this race offers something for everyone. The certified 5K course weaves through the beautiful roads of the Gateway community, creating the perfect environment for both competition and connection. Strollers are welcome, fun costumes are encouraged, and all ages are invited to participate.

Gateway Community Fund
This year, 20% of all funds raised through the Gateway Jingle Jog will go directly to support the McGinnis family, our very own neighbors who have walked through the unimaginable. Their 9-year-old son, Cole, recently passed away after a courageous battle with a rare and aggressive brain tumor. In Cole’s final months, both of his parents stepped away from their jobs to be fully present through countless doctor appointments, extensive travel, and the tender moments of his declining health. Now, as they face life after such a heartbreaking loss, the McGinnis family is still in need of significant support. As a community, we have the opportunity to surround them with practical help, encouragement, and love. By running, jogging or walking in the Jingle Jog, you are doing more than joining a race... You are helping lift up a family who desperately needs to feel the strength of the community around them.

Race Timing
Chip timing will be provided by Southern Timing, LLC. All participants will receive live results with an individual results page complete with your results, pace breakdown, finisher certificate & a 20-second video of you crossing the start & finish line! Results will be streamed live on race day to https://www.southerntimingfl.com/results

Packet Pickup
Packet pick-up days, times, and locations will be announced via email and social media posts in November!

Highlights

• Personal Bib number that will give access to the starting line
• Final finish time, finisher photo, and finisher video
• Custom finisher medal and a custom finisher sweat towel!
• Post-Race Treats: Refuel and relax after the run with a delightful assortment of quality post-run snacks and sweet treats. We will be featuring homemade sourdough bread from Gateway's own The Bald Baker, as well as sweet treats from Gateway's own Back Home Bakery!
• Placement Awards: Celebrate your achievements with awards for top finishers of each age group. This will happen immediately following the race.
• Raffle: We will be raffling off incredible gift baskets from local businesses, as well as a running shoe/sock giveaway, presented by Fleet Feet of Fort Myers!

Race Day Parking
Two parking options available: Gateway Elementary and the Gateway Soccer Field parking lots will be open at 6:00am. These parking lots are directly across the street from the church and a 2-minute walk to the starting line.
