The Geaux Wild Ultra is a trail running event taking place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Lake Bistineau State Park in Doyline, LA. The course is a 10-mile loop combining the Blue Wing, Koasati, and Whoa Mule trails, with two aid stations. The race offers 50-mile and 50k distances.

Course Description: The course is a 10-mile loop that combines the Blue Wing, Koasati, and Whoa Mule trails. There will be two aid stations along the route. The main aid station, located at the Start/Finish area, will offer hot food and a variety of trail snacks. A second, unmanned station will be positioned around mile 5, serving as a halfway point. This station will provide water, snacks, ice, and electrolytes. The course features classic Louisiana State Park trail terrain, with flat, minimally elevated paths characterized by muddy sections, tree roots, and natural trail surfaces.

Starting Times & Cutoff:

• 50 miler starts at 6:00 AM with a 15-hour cutoff
• 50k starts at 7:00 AM with a 14-hour cutoff

Race Day Food:

• Start/Finish: Bacon, PB&J, Chips, Cookies, Quesadilla, Grill Cheese Sandwich, Pickles, Candy, Crackers, Potatoes, Gummies, Soda of all kinds, Water, Ice, & Electrolytes
• Finish Meal: Pull pork sliders, pasta salad, and cake (vegan options available)
