Guns N' Hoses 5K 2026

Cherokee Recreation and Parks will host its 20th Annual Guns & Hoses 5K Run/Walk on February 14, 2026, at Hobgood Park in Woodstock, GA. The event aims to raise funds for local charities selected by the "Guns" (Cherokee Sheriff’s Office) and "Hoses" (Cherokee County Fire Department) teams. The "Guns" charity is The Frank Reynolds Charities, and the "Hoses" charity is the Goshen Valley Boys Ranch.

Participants can select which team they wish to represent during registration, with a portion of their fee donated to the chosen charity. Dogs on leashes are welcome. The race is a certified qualifying race for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race.

Packet Pick-Up

• Woodstock Recreation Center (7545 Main Street, Building 200, Woodstock, GA 30188):
  Thursday, February 12th, 9:00 am - 8:00 pm
  Friday, February 13th, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Race Day (Hobgood Park): February 14th. Please allow ample time before the 8:00 am start.

Registrations after 5:00 pm on Friday, February 13th, require picking up bibs at the Day of Registration table at Hobgood Park.

Available at Hobgood Park starting at 7:00 am. Includes t-shirt (while supplies last), bib, and other goodies.

• Top three Male and Female in age groups: 10 and under, 11-15, 16-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61-65, 66-70, 71+

Weather Policy

The race will proceed rain or shine, unless conditions are deemed unsafe by elected officials.
