IDEA Public Schools 5K & Healthy Living Expo

Location: Ascarate Park, El Paso, TX US 79905

Description: IDEA Public School's Healthy Kids Here program aims to make the district the healthiest in the country by engaging the El Paso community in a family-friendly and educational opportunity that encourages families to be active. Proceeds from the 5K Run will support programming efforts for scholars at IDEA El Paso schools.

Races:

• 5K Race: Competitive, starts at 8:15 am.
• 1 Mile Walk: Non-competitive, starts at 8:25 am.

Awards: Finisher Medals for all registered runners in the 1 Mile & 5k. 5k trophies for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place (Male and Female) in four age categories: 12 & Under, 13-18, 18-50, 50+.

Top Campus Participation: The IDEA campus with the most runners will win a traveling trophy.

• Saturday, March 7, 2026: 7:00am – 7:30am at Ascarate Park, 6100 Delta
