JACO Chun's to Waimea Bay Swim 2025 or all 4 races of the North Shore Swim Series

Event Details

Check-in for the Jaco Chun’s to Waimea Bay Swim starts at Waimea Bay at 7:00 AM. There is a small parking donation at St. Peter & Paul Church and limited parking at Waimea Park. Shuttle service to the start at Chun’s Reef will be provided.

Course Overview

The swim begins with a mass start, where men and women will start together behind two buoys. You can swim inside or outside the buoys, depending on surf conditions. The finish is directly in front of the lifeguard tower at Waimea Bay, marked with a buoy on the right side.

Awards and Divisions

Top three finishers in the divisions (Male & Female): Elite, 10 & under, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, and standard 5-year age groups thereafter (10-24, 25-29, etc.). An Overall Series Award is presented to participants who swim in all 5 events.

Safety Information

Swimmers must wear caps, which are provided during their first race. Bright colors are encouraged for visibility. Swimmers must make steady progress towards the finish; failure to do so and requiring assistance will lead to disqualification.
