Laketown Distance Festival Run/Walk

Join us on Saturday, January 24, 2026, for the Laketown Distance Festival benefiting the Kenner Rotary Club! Choose from a 5k, 10k, or 10 Mile distance, with something for everyone. All participants will receive a chip-timed race, a Long Sleeve poly-cotton t-shirt, a custom finisher medal, and post-race refreshments. Enjoy hot pancakes and sausage, coffee, mimosas, and beer after the race.

When: Saturday, January 24, 2026

Where: Kenner Lakefront, located on Lake Pontchartrain at the end of Williams Blvd., just west of the Kenner Boat Launch and the Treasure Chest Casino.

Packet Pickup: Pre-Race Day packet pickup will be held on Thursday, January 23rd from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Ron Jewelers, 4103 Williams Blvd, Kenner, LA 70065.

Benefiting: The Rotary Club of Kenner, supporting numerous community service projects.

• Sat, January 24, 2026 - 8:00 AM: Start of 10 Mile & 10K Distances
• Sat, January 24, 2026 - 8:15 AM: Start of 5k Distance
• Sat, January 24, 2026 - 10:00 AM: Awards Ceremony

Registration Fees:

Discounted Entry for 5K & 10K for Youth (0-14) and Seniors (65 & up).

• 5K Open Division: $44.93 (Oct 28 – Dec 24)
• 10K Open Division: $61.03 (Oct 28 – Dec 24)
• 10 Mile Open Division: $66.39 (Oct 28 – Dec 24)

Prices increase closer to the race day.

Awards:

Custom Race Day T-shirt, commemorative Finisher Medal, chip-timed event, and post-race breakfast.

Course Information:

• USATF-RRTC accurate certified 10 Mile course.
• Numerous aid stations on course.
• Nice lakefront jogging path.
• 10 Mile Course time limit is 2 hours, 45 minutes.
