Laurel Place Maroochydore would like to extend an invitation for you to attend this year’s Sexual Violence Awareness Month event. This year we are holding a 5km Community Run/Walk commencing at Southbank Parkway Park in Birtinya on Sunday 26th October at 7:30am (registration from 7:00am).

Join us to raise awareness about sexual violence and show support for survivors in our community. This event is a chance for people of all ages and abilities to come together, move in solidarity, and take a stand against sexual violence. Whether you choose to run, walk, or roll, your participation sends a powerful message: that everyone deserves to feel safe, supported, and heard.

The event is open to all community members, and local organisations. Alongside the run, there will be information stalls providing opportunities to learn more about available local support services.
