Celebrating its 12th year, the Louisville Trail Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K invites runners back to the beautiful front range for a beloved community event in Louisville, CO. With scenic trails and the iconic Flat Irons as a backdrop, this race takes participants through picturesque paths, offering both a mostly flat course and a challenging hill near the final mile that reveals an unforgettable vista of the front range mountains. Known for its welcoming atmosphere, the Louisville Trail Race is ideal for runners of all levels, from seasoned competitors to families enjoying a morning on the trails. Post-race festivities add to the fun, making this event a perfect way to experience Louisville’s natural beauty and lively community spirit.
The Half-Marathon course offers a scenic and approachable 13-mile out-and-back journey, set against the beautiful backdrop of Louisville, CO. Covering 90% dirt trails and 10% bike path, this course features an elevation gain of 501 feet, reaching a maximum elevation of 6,412 feet.
The 10K course offers a thrilling 6.2-mile out-and-back adventure, featuring two steady climbs and designed entirely on dirt trails with an elevation gain of 285 feet.
The 5K course is a welcoming out-and-back route, 3.1 miles long with a gentle elevation gain of 193 feet, ideal for both beginners and seasoned runners.
Bib Pickup will take place in Denver and Broomfield on November 13 and 14, and race day will include registration starting at 6:30 AM followed by the race starts for each distance.
Volunteering is a great way to see your runner on course and help make the event possible. Volunteer perks include race credits and swag!
As part of our effort to reduce waste, we will provide reusable cups at registration and encourage participants to bring their own.
