Multicultural Greek Council 5K

Come out and support the UGA Multicultural Greek Council 5K. All participants are encouraged to dress up representing their Nationality/Ethnicity, or even run wearing their flag while supporting the kids! Proceeds from this event will benefit MGC's philanthropy, the Boys and Girls Club of Athens. The Boys and Girls Clubs of Athens has provided a clean, healthy, and safe environment for youth ages 6 to 18 for over 50 years. Their after-school activities are designed to fully engage members in skill building exercises while allowing them to have fun.

Race Day Schedule

• 9:00 AM: Race Day Registration and Bib/T-shirt pickup
• 10:00 AM: MGC5K start
• 11:00 AM: Awards ceremony

Course

The course is a beautiful out and back along the Oconee Greenway.

T-Shirts and other Goodies

Short sleeve cotton t-shirts will be guaranteed to all pre-registered runners registered by 03/16/26. There will be lots of water, fruit and refreshments following the race.

Awards

Awards will be given to Overall Male, Overall Female, Masters Male, Masters Female and the top 3 in Male and Female 10-year age groups starting with 10 and under and going through 80 and over.

Race Series and Finishline Management - The MGC5K is proud to be a member of the Black Bag Race Series. Finish line management and timing provided by Classic Race Services.

What if it Rains? We get wet! Race start time may be delayed in 15-minute increments if storms are in the area. Sorry, no refunds due to inclement weather.
