St Joe's Jog 5K

St Joe's Jog benefits the students of St. Joseph Catholic Parish School. The race offers an In Person 5K, and In Person Fun Run and a Virtual 5K.

Race Day Schedule

Early Packet Pickup

Packet Pickup and Race Day Registration is available on March 27 from 2:00pm to 6:00 pm at St. Joseph Catholic Parish School, 958 Epps Bridge Parkway, Athens, GA 30606

Fun Run

The Fun Run runs entirely inside of Sandy Creek Park on paved roads. Start Time: 10:30 AM EDT. Registration ends March 25, 2026 at 11:59 PM EDT. Race Day registration begins at 10:00 AM. Registration Fee $35.00.

In Person 5K

The In Person 5K runs completely inside of Sandy Creek Park on paved roads. Start Time: 11:00 AM EDT. Registration ends March 25, 2026 at 11:59 PM EDT. Race Day registration begins at 10:00 AM. Registration Fee $35.00.

Virtual 5K

Run your 3.1 Miles anytime between March 1 and March 28 at Noon. Submit your finish times using the Results tab on this page. Registration ends March 25, 2026 at 11:59 PM EDT.

Phantom Participant

Phantom Participants are registering to support this event and to receive a shirt only. Time: 11:00 AM EDT. Registration ends March 25, 2026 at 11:59 PM EDT.

St. Joe's Jog 5K uses the USATF Certified course at Sandy Creek Park. USATF GA19034DJ COURSE MAP

Awards

Awards are given to Overall Male / Female, Masters Male/Female and the following Male / Female Age Groups: 5-year age groups: 10 and Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and Over.

Virtual Option

Run your 3.1 miles anywhere. Submit your finish time by clicking HERE or on the RESULTS tab at the top of this page. Submit finish times no later than 3:00 PM on March 28. To submit a virtual time you must be registered as a virtual runner. Virtual runners are not eligible for race day awards. T-Shirts may be picked up on Friday, March 21 between 2PM and 6PM at St Joseph Catholic Parish School, 958 Epps Bridge Parkway, Athens, GA 30606 OR on race day at Sandy Creek Park. Additionally, t-shirts can be mailed for a $10.00 mailing fee.

Race Series and Finishline Management

The St. Joe's Jog 5K is proud to be a member of the Black Bag Race Series and Clover Glove Race Series. Finishline management and timing provided by Classic Race Services.

What if it Rains?

We get wet! Race start time may be delayed in 15-minute increments if storms are in the area. Sorry, no refunds due to inclement weather.
