The National Capital 10 Miler and Janet Braunstein 5 Miler are back with a modified race distance and new course. The 20 Miler has been changed to a 10 Miler, while the Janet Braunstein race remains a 5 Miler. All finishers will receive a 2025 commemorative hoodie.

• National Capital 10 Miler: Overall Male and Female 1st Place: $150, 2nd Place: $75, 3rd Place: $50
• Masters, Overall Male and Overall Female: $50 each
• Age group awards three deep (19 and under, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 and over)

Directions:

The race follows Ohio Dr SW, around Hains Point on East Potomac Park, Washington, DC. The starting line is on Ohio Dr SW, near the entrance to the Golf range.

Parking: Limited parking is available at the tennis court on Buckeye Drive or street parking on Ohio Drive. Additional parking at Parking Lot B NPS on the Potomac side of the Peninsula.

Registration Options for Previous Participants:

Participants registered for the 2025 National Capital 20 Miler or Janet Braunstein 5 Miler before October 5, 2025, have options: Stay in the race, keep registration fee, or get a refund.
