The 23rd Annual Oil Man Texas Triathlon is the premier Long Distance Triathlon in southeast Texas. Our field limit will be 1,000 participants. We bring you a 1.2 mile swim in Lake Conroe, 56 mile bike in scenic Montgomery County, and a 13.1 mile all starting at the beautiful Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe! This is a first class event with a home town feel in a newly renovated property brought to you by a local race director. Bring your family and enjoy your race weekend with us! We have a Youth Triathlon on Saturday with a Jimmy Buffett theme!

The 23rd Annual Oilman Texas Triathlon is southeast Texas' favorite locally-produced Half Iron Distance Triathlon. New last year was the Sprint distance triathlon, offering more options to more athletes. Our field limit will be 750 participants for the Half distance and 500 for the Sprint.. Half distance athletes will enjoy a 1.2 mile swim in Lake Conroe, 56 mile bike in scenic Montgomery County, and a 13.1 mile run all starting and ending at the beautiful Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe! The Sprint distance will include a 500 meter swim, 11 mile bike and a 5k run through the Margaritaville neighborhoods and golf course. Come Join Us!
