The run before FAT TUESDAY! Feel better about eating those paczki, or run the route to scout out your favorite place to purchase them. The 5K route winds through Hamtramck, highlighting the city that boasts “the world in 2 square miles.” After the race, paczek and beer are served to each finisher, and prizes for age group top finishers!

Post Race Refreshments! Water will be available after you cross the finish line, where you will receive a can of still water, and a Paczek. This year in addition to a beer, we are providing a small shot of Detroit Distillery’s Paczki Vodka! Beer and vodka will be distributed to those 21 and older near the polka tent after the run.

Race Swag! Awesome T-shirt provided to those who register by February 1st, 2026. T-shirts are not guaranteed after that date. The shirts are VERY popular. Register early to secure your shirt!
