Description: A family-friendly run or walk on Thanksgiving morning. A Parkersburg tradition since 1979.
The event is a low-key family walk or run and a very competitive race event at the same time. The first male and female to cross the finish line will receive a LARGE fresh turkey and a hoodie. All registered participants will be entered into a drawing for 50 door prizes.
Registration: Opens June 1, 2025 at 12:00 AM EDT. You can pick up your Turkey Trot shirt and/or register Wednesday before Thanksgiving at the City Park Pavilion from 10 AM to 6 PM or Thanksgiving morning from 7 AM to 8:45 AM. Register early to guarantee your shirt.
