Pecatonica Labor Day 5K

Join us for the Pecatonica Labor Day 5K and Family Fun Run, inspired by Pecatonica's Crooked River 5K. This first annual race will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025. The race starts at the Pecatonica Public Library, goes to the Winnebago County Fairgrounds, follows the Pecatonica River Bike Path, and returns to the library. The 5K run/walk begins at 8:00 AM CDT, and the awards ceremony is around 9:30 AM CDT.

Events:

• 5K: $30.00 (Registration ends August 30, 2025 at 8:00 AM CDT)
• Kids Fun Run: $15.00 (Registration ends August 30, 2025 at 11:59 PM CDT)

Pricing: $30.00 pre-registration for the 5K. Family-friendly event with special pricing for youth (0-17) and participants 80+. Rockford Road Runners discount applies (not on race day). Race-day pricing increases by $7.00.

Shirts and Medals: T-shirts available from BAX-Ts in Pecatonica (guaranteed with pre-August 22 registration).

Timing: Chip timing provided by Racing Expectations.

Age Groups: 0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+ (both male and female)
