About the Event

Project Swim Development

Welcome to Project Swim Development, where the focus is on YOU and building a foundation to be a successful swimmer. This series includes three (3) in-person sessions over three (3) months:

  • November 23: Freestyle foundation
  • December 14: Reducing drag
  • January 18: Maximizing propulsion

Swimmers must be able to swim at least a 400 yard/meter continuous swim in order to be part of the 3 month development. This is not a learn-to-swim clinic.

Our host is the Lifetime Fitness, Algonquin, IL. Two sessions are available from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. or 10 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Based on skill level, the instructors will place you in a time slot to benefit you.

We’ve put together two excellent coaches: USAT Triathlon Coach Jennifer Harrison and swim instructor and creator of Push Glide Kick; Gemma Hollis.

Race Production by Trudy is a management group that brings you the McHenry County Century Ride, Fox Lake Triathlon, Crystal Lake Half Marathon, McHenry County Santa Run for Kids, Patriot Race and A Long Swim.

Schedule of the day:
