The Rainbow Ridge 20k and 50k will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025. The races are located at 54745 McKenzie River Dr, Blue River, OR 97413.

Course Information

20k Details

Starting from the upper McKenzie community center, runners will climb 2600ft to Kings Castle summit, offering stunning views of the McKenzie River valley and the high Cascade peaks. The return is all downhill, providing a fast and exhilarating finish!

50k Details

After a 15-minute shuttle, runners will begin at Olallie north trailhead and ascend to Horse Pasture mountain summit. Experience epic 360-degree views of The Three Sisters wilderness and snowy peaks before riding the ridgeline trail past Macduff mountain. The course features a long descent into O’Leary/Castle Rock trailhead, followed by a challenging final climb to Kings Castle for even more breathtaking views. Prepare for a fast, downhill finish on beautiful single track through a mossy wonderland, accumulating around 7,000ft of vertical gain.
