Rcdcu Bike to Fight Prostate Cancer

Event Information

The RCDCU Annual Bike-A-Thon takes you through the scenic back roads of Franklin Twp. Cyclists can choose between 10, 30, or 50 mile routes. The event aims to raise awareness of prostate cancer and the importance of early detection and screening.

Event Details

The Bike-A-Thon begins and ends at the Franklin Township Community Center, 505 DeMott Lane, Somerset, NJ promptly at 8:00 am.

Bike Routes

• 3 Mile Fun Ride/Walk: A family-friendly ride along a paved path to Quail Brook Park.
• 10 Mile Ride: Named the Robert "Cozy" Merrits Memorial ride, visiting quiet neighborhoods with a rest stop at the Community Baptist Church.
• 30 Mile Ride: A challenging ride featuring Colonial Park and the historic Delaware Raritan Canal.
• 50 Mile Ride: For seasoned cyclists, this ride includes rest points at historical sites and offers a SAG vehicle for assistance.

Registration Fee

Includes breakfast, lunch, and a signature T-shirt. A delicious buffet lunch will be served at the end of the ride, along with awards presentations.
