RECC. 'Run the World' Gold Coast Relay

Teams of four battle it out over a fast & furious 5km course in the picturesque Broadwater Parklands. The twilight relay sees runners complete 2 flat and fast loops, ensuring plenty of action for fans and banter between teams!

There are four (4) divisions on offer, Open Female, Open Male, Open Mixed (2 Females/2 Males) and Junior Mixed (2 Females/2 Males - 4 x 2.5km). Mixed teams of other denominations are welcome but are ineligible for podium awards.

With great prizes, giveaways, food, live tunes and beers on hand; the RECC. Active 'Run the World' Relay includes all the great aspects of the run community in one idyllic location on the stunning Gold Coast waterways.

• Teams of 4 males: $22.50 BLOOM'N FAST (Oct 1 – Nov 24) / $27.50 READY TO RACE (Nov 24 – Dec 5)
• Teams of 4 females: $22.50 BLOOM'N FAST (Oct 1 – Nov 24) / $27.50 READY TO RACE (Nov 24 – Dec 5)
• Teams of 4; comprising at least two classifications with no more than two representatives from any of the following: Male, non-binary, transgender, female to be eligible for podium awards: $22.50 BLOOM'N FAST (Oct 1 – Nov 24) / $27.50 READY TO RACE (Nov 24 – Dec 5)
• 4 x 2.5km race for school students up to and including Year 8. 2 Males/ 2 Females per team. Please note; other denominations ARE permitted, but INELIGIBLE for podium awards: $17.50 BLOOM'N FAST (Oct 1 – Nov 24) / $20.00 READY TO RACE (Nov 24 – Dec 5)

Course Map

Flat and fast; runners will head north; loop around the park before returning along the same route, before veering left and looping through the wetlands space. Each runner will complete 2 loops.
