Resolution Run 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run

Kick off the New Year with the Annual Florida Striders Resolution Run 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run! bestbet is the host once again. Enjoy FREE hot chocolate for every paying runner – a perfect post-race treat! The weather is usually nice and cool for our run along the beautiful St. Johns River on January 17th.

The 5K starts at 8:30 AM, followed by the free Kid's 1 Mile Fun Run at 9:30 AM. Registration closes 15 minutes prior to the start of each race. Packet pickup is available until race time.

Why Run With Us?

Registration: Online registration is open now, as well as in the First Place Sports stores. Day-of-race registration will be available, but prices increase. Early packet pickup at 1st Place Sports locations is highly encouraged.

Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Overall; 1st, 2nd, 3rd in age groups; 1st Place Male and Female Master and Grand Master Awards.

Refreshments: A water station will be on the course near the turn-around, and refreshments will be available beyond the finish line.

Start Line: The 5K starts at 8:30 AM. Competitive runners should start near the front, and walkers near the back.

Course: The 5K starts on River Road behind bestbet on US-17. The turnaround is at Kingsley and Reed. Clay County Emergency Amateur Radio Teams will coordinate with the Sheriff Dept. Officers for a safe and enjoyable run.

Finish Line: Please be mindful of other runners finishing and continue past the finish line area. Finisher medals will go to the top 600 finishers.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR FAMILY MEMBER RACE REGISTRATIONS: For Strider Family Memberships, each family member needs their own profile to register correctly and receive the Club race discount rate. The Family Head can add members via their profile. This is not required for Free Fun Runs, which register on race day.

Online registration closes at noon on Thursday, January 15th. You can still register at any 1st Place Sports store until 5 PM on Friday, January 16th, or at the race on Saturday morning from 6:15 AM to 8:15 AM.

Florida Striders Member Sign Up: Benefits include Wednesday track workouts, $5 off every race, and supporting a non-profit and local schools.

Pre-Race Packet Pickup: Encouraged to ensure you get a shirt. A shirt is not guaranteed on race day. Check your pick-up location box when registering.
