River City 5K
The 39th Annual River City 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 in Danville, VA. This year's race will begin at 215 Main St., Danville, VA 24541. The flat and fast course is a combination of street and paved park trail, starting and finishing on the MLK Bridge and running along the beautiful paved Riverwalk Trail by the Dan River. It's a chip-timed race, and awards will be given based on gun times. Timing will be conducted by Blue Ridge Timing, Lynchburg, Virginia.

- River City 5K Run: $25 (price increases after October 5, 2025 at 12:00 AM EDT). Open to ages 1-100. 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM EDT
- River City 5K Walk: $25 (price increases after October 5, 2025 at 12:00 AM EDT). Open to ages 1-100. 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM EDT
Special Pricing: $10 for participants 19 and under.
Registration: Register by 12:00 noon on September 27 to guarantee your shirt and size. There is no day-of-race registration.
