Rum to the Beach

Goslings and Hamilton Princess present "Rum to the Beach"

This event is the traditional kick-off event of the New Year. The Rum to Beach Race includes a running event, a competitive walking category and a Non Competitive Run/Walk. All are 7.13 miles in distance.

Categories and Prizes:

• 1st Princess Employee and Goslings Employee in the running division.
• 1st Male & Female Overall Runner.
• 1st 2nd & 3rd Male & Female in age group open category 16-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ & 1st 70+ Male & Female.
• 1st, 2nd & 3rd Male & Female Walker.

Entry Fee:

• Runners and Walkers $30 Current MAAC Members
• $35 All Others
• $40 Late Entries
• $8 for Gold Members of MAAC.

Number Pick Up: Goslings (Dundonald St.) Race Numbers will be distributed prior to race day at Goslings shop and warehouse on Dundonald St. Time TBD on Saturday January 10th. Courtesy of Goslings, there will be a wine tasting at Number Pick Up.

Light refreshments at the finish for participants ONLY.

Course: 7.13 miles. Start at Goslings, Dundonald St., Hamilton, left onto Cedar Avenue and down Burnaby St., along Front Street then along East Broadway, The Lane, Harbour Rd, Burnt House Hill, Middle Rd, up Lighthouse Hill, finish at Hamilton Princess Beach Club.
