About the Event

Run, Paddle, Run Adventure Race

This multi-discipline race starts with a 1.5-mile run, followed by a 2,200-foot paddle creek-channel low-flow whitewater utilizing duckies (inflatable kayaks), and finishes with another 1.5-mile run back to the raft barn. Total run distance: 3 miles (split into two 1.5-mile segments) Total paddle distance: 2,200 feet on Low - Flow Whitewater on the Creek Channel Transition area: In front of the raft barn

Who Can Participate? Ages 13 and up

Included in Registration: Entry Fee: $35.00 per participant
Participants will receive: Race t-shirt (if registered by July 9th); Race bib # Whitewater Equipment (Helmet, PFD, Single Kayak, and Double-Bladed Paddle – no personal kayaks allowed; MW official kayaks only!)

Awards & Prizes: Overall 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners in both female and male categories will receive a trophy. Race medals will be awarded to all participants at the finish line.

Timing: Please note that this is not an officially clocked/chipped race.

Weather Policy: A rain or shine event—a little challenge makes it even more fun! However, in case of thunderstorms or tornado warnings, the race may be rescheduled or canceled for safety.

Participation Perks: - 10% discount on Wednesday Night Ducky Club trips for all registered racers (walk up only, no online reservations)! Choose from 4:00 pm or 5:30 pm trips any Wednesday leading up to the triathlon races. - 10% Off Montgomery Whitewater Day Passes during race weekend – July 18-20th. (show medal or race t-shirt to receive)

Food & Beverage: Breakfast of Champions available from 10 am – 1 pm at Eddy’s ($15 per person).

Required Gear: Tennis shoes or water shoes with a back strap that you're comfortable running in—and getting wet!
