Running with Sasquatch 5K

Event Details

The "Running with Sasquatch" 5k will begin on the campus of Ivy Academy, located at 8520 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379. This trail race features an out-and-back course along the North Chick Creek, offering a mix of rugged terrain and stunning nature.

Course Description

Expect the trail to be approximately 4-5ft wide with two-way traffic. Participants may encounter creek crossings, standing water, and fallen trees. The turn-around point is at "Pride Rock." Bring your own water supply, especially if hiking or walking the distance. After beating Sasquatch, you will earn a special trucker hat!

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will start at 7 am and finish by 8:30 am, with the race beginning at 9 am. Arrive early to ensure a smooth start.

Wildflower Walk Option

The trail also features an opportunity to admire over 30 species of wildflowers from late February to early May. Those participating in the Wildflower Walk will start at the back of the line and take time to enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Sleepy Sasquatch Option

If you're not interested in running but still want to support the cause, sign up for the "Sleepy Sasquatch" option, which allows you to sleep in while still receiving a sweet swag item.

Awards and Prizes

Awards will be given to the top participants in various categories, including male, female, and youth divisions. There will also be a “Recycled Race Number” drop box for additional giveaways!
