SCHOOLS RUNNING SERIES 2026

This series is open to anyone residing in or visiting Grenada and consists of four separate running events. Points are awarded, and medals are given to participants who complete two or more races. The series includes various age groups and distances, encouraging participation from primary school children to open adult categories.

Races and Dates:

• Race #1 - Sunday, January 25, 2026 - 8:00 AM AST - Maurice Bishop Highway loop
• Race #2 - Sunday, March 1, 2026 - 8:00 AM AST - Grenada Golf Course loop
• Race #3 - Sunday, May 3, 2026 - 8:00 AM AST - Kirani James Athletic Stadium
• Race #4 - Sunday, June 28, 2026 - 8:00 AM AST - Camerhogne Park

Age Groups & Distances:

• Primary 1: 3-5 years | 500m to 800m
• Primary 2: 6-9 years | 1km to 1.5km
• Primary 3: 10-11 years, 12-14 years | 2km to 3km
• Secondary: 12+ years | 3km to 5km
• Open Adult: 16+ years | 3km to 5km

The age for the series is determined by the age on December 31, 2026.

Scoring and Prizes:

Electronic race timing will be provided. Points are awarded to the Top 50 boys and girls in each age division. Overall winners will be the participants with the most points at the end of the series. Best Athlete Awards and a Champion Trophy for the school with the most finishers will be presented.

Registration:

Online registration is available via Race Roster. Alternatively, participants can register through their school by paying EC$20.

Registration fees for Primary School (13&U) and Open Runner (14+ yrs) are available from Sep 1 - Jan 24.
