Pod Running is excited to host its fifth 24-hour virtual race, the Snow Moon 24 Hour Challenge, on Saturday, February 7, 2026, starting at 8:00 AM ET. This event allows participants to run from anywhere in the world, recording their distances using a GPS watch or smartphone app. The race is named for the full moon visible during the inaugural year and close to the full moon this year.
Participants can run, walk, on trails, roads, or treadmills. Ellipticals and cycling do not count towards recorded miles. Finishers will receive a winter hat, and tiered prizes are available for milestone distances.
You create your own course and run anytime within the 24-hour period.
GPS data is required. Submit screenshots or links to public results to [email protected] by 8:00 PM ET on Sunday, February 8, 2026. Failure to submit will result in a DNF.
Recommended GPS tracking apps include Strava, Map My Run, or RunKeeper.
Additional race merchandise is available at: https://www.teepublic.com/user/poddesignshop/albums/113414-snow-moon-24
