Join us for the TROT O'GOLD 5K, a fun run/walk supporting the CAER Food Shelf. This event is a fundraiser, with 100% of proceeds benefiting the food shelf.

Location: CAER Food Shelf, 12621 Elk Lake Road Northwest, Elk River, MN

Registration Fees:

• Dec 15 – Feb 1: $44.79 ($40 registration + $4.79 fees)
• Feb 2 – Feb 14: $50.14 ($45 registration + $5.14 fees)
• Feb 15 – Mar 14: $55.49 ($50 registration + $5.49 fees)

Register by March 1, 2026, to receive an event t-shirt.

Event Details:

• Check-in opens at 8:30 am on race day.
• Day of registration available for $50 (cash or online).
• Costume contest and judging from 8:30-9:30 am in the CAER Lobby.
• Food donations are encouraged for Minnesota Food Share Month.
• Restrooms available in CAER and portable restrooms in the parking lot.
• The course is an out-and-back, runners stay to the right.
• Water at the turnaround point; water and snacks at the finish line.
• Course closes at 11:30 am.

Parking:

Parking for participants is at Meadowvale Elementary. Turn at Vernon Street.

Cancellation Policy:

In case of inclement weather or other cancellations, proceeds will be directed to CAER Food Shelf; no refunds will be offered.
