About the Event
Sun City Barry James Memorial 5K and Half Marathon
The Sun City Barry James Memorial 5K and Half Marathon are put on every year by the Hard Core Running Club of Central Washington. They take place on the second Sunday of October at Volution Fitness in Terrace Heights, Washington, just east of Yakima. The 5K is a loop that starts and ends at Volution. The half marathon starts on Terrace Heights Drive and ends at Volution. There will be aid stations at miles 3, 7, and 10. The half marathon is a favorite race of many participants with rolling hills alongside orchards.
Race fee:
- Hard Core Runner Members: $15
- Non-members: $20
- Youth under 12: Free
