The 2025 Cowtown C.A.L.F. Race

The 15th Annual Cowtown C.A.L.F. 5K, 10K, and 1 Mile Walk & Run. As part of The Cowtown Marathon’s mission to promote a lifelong love of fitness, The C.A.L.F. Program was created in 2009 to help tens of thousands of area children lace up and cross the finish line. Our staff and volunteers visit approximately 400 schools across North Texas annually, training students in proper running techniques and educating them about resting heart rate, the importance of hydration, proper nutrition, and living an active lifestyle. On October 4th, The C.A.L.F. Race will take place at Coyote Drive-In Movie Theater in Fort Worth and will feature three different distances to choose from—1-mile, 5K, or 10K. As runners enjoy running through Fort Worth’s scenic Trinity Trail while passing by the outdoor screens at Coyote Drive-In. After your race includes finisher’s swag for one-mile participants, high-quality medals for 5K and 10K distances, a delicious pancake breakfast (included with registration cost), face painting for the children, and a DJ playing fun and lively music. This event has loads of children and families participating, many who run with their school teams. Another perk of this event is that the proceeds go right back into our C.A.L.F. Program—which benefits low-income children and gives them a free pair of running shoes and fitness training to jumpstart their health at an early age.
