The Grey 5K Event Details

The Inaugural Grey 5K will take place on May 31, 2025, at Sadler's Nature Park in Essex, Ontario. This event is created to support #JaidasJourney - The Jaida Chartier Foundation, aimed at funding research for Childhood Cancer, particularly Pediatric Brain Cancer.

Jaida Chartier bravely faced Diffuse Midline Glioma with H3K27 mutation Brain Cancer for 14 months before her passing on July 31, 2024. This 5K Run/Walk is intended to fulfill a promise made by her parents to continue fighting for awareness and a cure.

May is Brain Tumour/Cancer month, symbolized by the Grey Cancer Ribbon, making this event even more significant. Let's show Jaida that she will never be forgotten and that we support the fight for our littlest heroes!

Registration Information

All participants will receive a custom t-shirt as part of their registration fee. Fees are inclusive of all mandatory charges:

• 5K Run/Walk Registration Fee: $56.20 (from Jan. 13 to May 5)
