The OMKC 7th Annual Non-Runners Run

On Saturday, November 15th, 2025, Operation Military Kids Club (OMKC) will host its 7th annual Non-Runners Run, adding a mile option this year! This race is a half-mile with a donut/water stop at the halfway point. Those signing up for the mile continue to the finish. All registered participants 21+ receive a free beer ticket at The Salty Turtle; root beer is provided for those under 20. The course starts at 10:00 AM at Faith Harbor United Methodist Church (14201 NC Hwy 50 Surf City, NC 28445) and ends at The Salty Turtle (103 Triton Lane Surf City, NC 28445).

All participants receive a t-shirt if registered by November 1st. Cost is $30 for ages 18+, $10 for ages 5-17, and free for those under 5. Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome; however, dogs (except service dogs) are not allowed. Awards are given for the most patriotic attire. Proceeds benefit Operation Military Kids Club (https://operationmilitarykidsclubs.com), a 501c3 non-profit. Parking is available at Faith Harbor and The Salty Turtle; carpooling is recommended.
