Join Prairie Home Cemetery & Silver Circle Sports Events for the Tombstone Trot, a unique run/walk through history! Prairie Home Cemetery is celebrating its 176th anniversary, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Friends of Prairie Home Cemetery, Inc. 501(c)(3).

Event Highlights:

• A scenic and meaningful run/walk through Prairie Home Cemetery
• Support a historic landmark and community nonprofit
• Commemorative race experience in honor of 176 years

Friends of Prairie Home Cemetery will be offering:

• 50/50 Raffle (8:00 AM – 10:00 AM) Tickets: $5 each or 5 for $20 Cash & credit accepted. Drawing at 10:00 AM (Need not be present to win)
• Prairie Home Cemetery History Books – Available for purchase ($10 each)

Tombstone Trot Course Description

Experience a one-of-a-kind run/walk through the beautiful, tree-lined, historic grounds of Prairie Home Cemetery. The course meanders past scenic landscapes, offering a peaceful and reflective atmosphere, especially with the stunning fall colors—be sure to check out the course video! The start/finish line is a sight to behold, lined with American flags, creating a truly memorable experience from beginning to end.

• 8:45 AM – 1K Kiddo's Race Starts
• 9:00 AM – 5K Run/Walk Starts
• 10:00 AM – Course Closes
