Race Info

The Town of Newburgh Post to Post Run for Veterans is a 5K run/walk event aimed at raising awareness and supporting local Veterans' organizations. All profits will be used to support their operations and programs.

The run starts at VFW Post 1161 and ends at VFW Post 973. The event is open to all ages and abilities. Prizes will be awarded to top runners by age group/gender and top male/female active military or veteran.

This is the 3rd annual Post to Post Run for Veterans, celebrating the upcoming Veterans’ Day.

Registration Information

The cost of the 5k is $25 for those who pre-register and $30 for those who register on race day. T-shirts are given to the first 100 people to sign up for the race.

Race ends at: VFW 973, building 15 Hudson Valley Professional Plaza, Town of Newburgh, NY

About the Organizers

The American Legion is a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness, mentoring youth, and promoting patriotism. The VFW's mission is to "honor the dead by helping the living" through veterans' service, community service, and national security.
