Tule River Parkway 5K Walk Run
A 5K walk/run event starting on the extended section of the Tule River Parkway. The route starts at Fallen Hero’s Park near Plano Street and the turnaround is west of the Native Plant Gardens section. The event is for both runners who want informal timing and individuals and families who just want to run or walk for health and fun. Fallen Hero’s Park features picnic tables, a jungle gym, slides, and swings, plus a basketball court and a splash pad. This event benefits the Tule River Parkway Association, a local environmental nonprofit.
