About the Event

Race Overview

The 8th annual Tuscazoar Race will be held at Camp Tuscazoar in the beautiful hills of Tuscarawas county on September 5th 2026. The race is a 25 mile loop. We changed the course in 2024 due to some trail construction and decided to keep that course. The course is 95% trail and hard to find in Ohio! We will Stay on Camp Tuscazoar property for the majority of the race except for a 5.5 mile section where we will go onto some private property.

In addition to our traditional 100 mile, 75 mile, 50 mile and 25 mile races we have a option for 50 and 25 mile runners to do a 7:00 p.m. start! That’s right if you are looking for a chance to do a night run or run as a pacer and get some swag too this is it!

Tuscazoar Series

With the addition of the new Tuscazoar Raw race we have now have 3 very different races at Camp Tuscazoar so I have decided to create The Tuscazoar Series! Any runner who signs up for all 3 races will get a 15% discount and a series award. You can sign up for any distance for each race. Contact the race director at [email protected] for special series entry code. You will need to sign up for all 3 races at the same time.

Cutoff Times

50 mile: 32 hours
25 mile: 31 hours

Pacers are allowed for the 100 mile and 75 mile distances only, and not before mile 50. Only one pacer at a time per entrant. Pacers must sign a liability waiver and can only enter/exit the race at the start/finish, River Ranch/Rt800, and Preserve aid stations.
