About the Event
36th ANNUAL KENAI PENINSULA VIOLENCE FREE COMMUNITY RUN
August 9, 2025 | 10:00 a.m. AKDT
The event consists of two certified races: a 5K and 10K course on a multi-looped, paved road winding through the streets downtown Kenai. Courses are wheelchair accessible.
Courses and prices:
- Course name: 5K, Distance: 5K, Price: $20.00
- Course name: 10K, Distance: 10K, Price: $20.00
START and Finish Line: Located at the Kenai Park Strip on Main Street Loop (across from First National Bank Alaska)
RACE DAY DETAILS:
Parking: at the Old Carrs Mall. There is no parking on the street.
Check-in: from 8:00 am - 9:30 am on race day at the Park Strip.
Group Stretch and Warm-Up: will be held at the park at 9:45 am.
