Yeti Trail Half

Event Details

The Yeti Trail Half is a 13.1-mile race taking place at Bluhm County Park, located at 3855 S 1100 W, Westville, IN 46391. The race is scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2026, with a start time of 8:00 AM CST. Packet pick-up begins at 7:15 AM.

Runners will complete 4 loops of the park, with each loop being 3.4 miles. The course consists primarily of single-track dirt trails with switchbacks and tree roots, and will be clearly marked with flags, arrow signs, and survey tape.

An aid station will be available at the Grove Shelter, offering water, Gatorade, and pre-packaged snacks. This station is located near the start/finish area, allowing participants to access personal supplies each loop.

There will be a 4 hour and 30 minute cut-off time for the race. Overall winners will receive Ice Spikes, a Yeti figure, and a Starbucks gift card. All finishers will be able to select an item from the "prize table" which includes past race shirts, mugs, and hats. There will be no awards ceremony.

Participants will receive a limited-edition long-sleeve cotton shirt and a winter hat and gloves. Bibs should be worn on the front of the shirt for manual timing.

The Crazy Legs Race Series (CLRS) aims to promote non-pavement races in Northwest Indiana. They focus on fun and challenging course designs in a low-key atmosphere, with races held in Lake, Porter, and Laporte counties.

The Crazy Legs Race Series is committed to inclusivity and welcomes participation regardless of sexual orientation, biological sex, gender identity, or gender expression. They acknowledge the land on which they host races as the seized territory of the Miami, Shawnee, and Illinois Nations.
