About Tour de Lavender

With vistas of the snow-capped Olympic Mountains, the blue expanse of the Salish Sea, and multi-hued fields of wondrous lavender to roam, the “Tour de Lavender” is more than just a ride, it’s an experience! Since 2013, the Tour de Lavender has given cyclists from beginner to expert the chance to celebrate the stunning beauty of the Olympic Peninsula and enjoy the renowned lavender farms of the Sequim-Dungeness.

Celebrate when you return to the finish area with pizza, a beer garden, and socializing. You can also pick up any purchases made at the farms, which will be transported back to the event finish area.

The Tour de Lavender has two distances to choose from: The 34-mile Fun Ride and the 64-mile Metric Century. The Fun Ride is a loop course designed for cyclists looking for a casual ride, mostly on low traffic country roads and the Olympic Discovery Trail. The Metric Century is also a loop course that offers more challenging hill climbs and includes segments of premier scenic bikeway routes.

Both courses visit multiple lavender farms, all offering cyclist-friendly amenities including snacks, beverages, and mechanical support.

Event Details

Riders may leave the starting area at the Sequim Boys & Girls Club between 8 AM - 10 AM. Strictly enforced!

Proceeds

Proceeds from the Tour de Lavender go to the Peninsula Trails Coalition, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, supporting trail construction and maintenance.
