Olympic Mountains Trail Races

Event Overview

The Olympic Mountains Trail Races take place on August 16-17, 2025, in the stunning Olympic National Forest, Quilcene, WA. Participants can choose from three exhilarating race distances: 100K, 50K, and 25K, with a new 25K Ruck division added this year!

Distances & Prize Money

• 100K: Prize money of $500 for first place (male & female), $250 for second, and $125 for third. Prize money doubles if there are 100 starters.
• 50K: Prize of $250 for a new record.
• 25K: A beautifully challenging course with serious elevation gain!

Race Schedule

• 100K: Start on August 16, 2025, at 5:00 AM
• 50K: Start on August 16, 2025, at 9:00 AM
• 25K Ruck: Start on August 17, 2025, at 7:00 AM
• 25K: Start on August 17, 2025, at 9:00 AM

Registration Details

Registration opened on January 20th, with early bird rates ending on January 31st. Here are the pricing details:

• 100K: $195 until February 1, $225 until July 6, $245 until August 13th
• 50K: $95 until February 1, $120 until July 1, $145 until August 13th
• 25K: $65 until February 1, $80 until July 1, $95 until August 13th

Registation fee includes race entry, well-stocked aid stations, post-race food, a unique finisher award, and free camping.

Location

Races take place in the Olympic National Forest, with camping available at Race HQ. Please plan your trip in advance, as the drive can be challenging and you will lose cell signal. Directions are provided on our website.
