Buffalo Stampede 10-Mile and 4-Mile Run/Walk

Event Overview

The Buffalo Stampede 10-Mile Run/Walk, recognized as the race that launched Sacramento’s road-racing tradition, will also have a 4-Mile option. Both courses are set in the River Park area and offer beautiful views, including the levees along the American River.

Course Information

The 10-mile course features a scenic route through the River Park neighborhood and alongside the American River on the levees, with participants crossing the Guy West Bridge. The 4-mile course is a shorter version starting and finishing in the same location.

• 14 and Under on Event Day: $28.74
• All Ages 4 Mile Run/Walk: $55.49
• 10 Mile Run/Walk:
  • $66.18 (May 5 – Aug 3)
  • $71.53 (Aug 4 – Sep 13)
  • $76.88 (Sep 14)

Awards

All finishers will receive a medal, and awards will be given to the top three finishers in each 5-year age group for both distances. Awards will be available at the awards tent post-race.
