Lake Of The Woods 5k & 50K

This is the 5th Annual Lake Of The Woods 5k & 50K event, taking place on Saturday, February 7th, 2026. The race will begin at 7:50 AM for the 5k and 8:00 AM for the 50k, located at the Lake Of The Woods Camp Grounds.

Every runner/rucker who signs up for the 5k or 50k run/ruck will receive an official 2025 LOW50k poster, a LOW50k drawstring bag, and a finisher's medal. An official race hooded pullover will be available for pre-order for $25 until January 23rd.

The course loops through the woods and around the lake, featuring wide, passable trails with hills and a creek crossing. The campground provides a shower house with heated restrooms and an outdoor shelter serving as the main aid station. Additional amenities include two port-a-potties, a bonfire area, an on-course aid station, and hot soup and mashed potatoes served all day.

• Packet pickup begins at 6:30 AM.
• 5k begins at 7:50 AM.
• 50k begins at 8:00 AM.
• 50k ends at 6:00 PM (10-hour cutoff).
• Ruckers must carry a minimum of 25 lbs (weigh-in at packet pick up). No weighted vests.
• Heated Indoor Bathrooms/showers are located near the main aid station shelter.
• Two aid stations will be on the course: Main aid at start/finish and one roughly halfway.
• This event is rain or shine (or snow).
• Parking is available at the campground.
