Join the Jurassic Jog! The Richmond T. Rex Run is a FREE, 0.4-mile fun run at Dorey Park on Sunday, November 16 at 2 PM. Suit up in your best dino costume (inflatable T. Rex encouraged!) and waddle, sprint, or stomp your way around the lake. No timing, no winners—just big laughs, tiny arms, and a prehistoric good time!

This is a FREE event, but we encourage participants to donate to Richmond Road Runners Club (RRRC). Your support helps us keep races affordable, provide community running resources, and fund scholarships and grants.

What to Expect

• Dino Dress Code: Every participant must run in a dinosaur costume. Inflatable full-body T. Rex suits are the classic choice, but any dino species is welcome.
• Course: A 0.4-mile paved loop around the lake at Dorey Park. Short, safe, and hilarious.
• For Ages 5+: All dino runners must be 5 years or older.
• Just for Fun: No timing, no winners—just a prehistoric pack of dinos roaming the park together.

Safety & Rules

For everyone’s safety, the following are not allowed on the course:

• Strollers or baby joggers
• Pets (leashed or unleashed)
• Bikes, skateboards, skates, or rollerblades
