Event Info

On December 6th at 1:00pm join us for the 10th annual Santa’s 5K Fun Run sponsored by Peter Family Dentistry. Participants will receive a race t-shirt and Santa hat to wear during the event. Runners are encouraged to add a Santa suit, antlers, and other items to make the festivities even more jovial. Prizes awarded to the top finishers in multiple age groups for runners and walkers. Cost is $25 for pre-registered racers (plus the 6% sales tax now required by the state of KY). The number of participants will be limited to 300 and you must register ON-LINE ONLY. Shirt size is not guaranteed unless you register online prior to November 15th Race begins and ends at the Independence Fire Station #1 on Delaware Crossing.

Included with your registration will be a T shirt, Santa hat (YES - a Santa hat you can wear on the Fun Run!), and a goodie bag full of great things provided by our sponsors.

Packet Pickup

This year you will be able to pick your shirt, race bib, Santa hat and goodie bag on Friday December 5th at the Tri-State Running Co., one of our sponsors! Packet pickup is between 10am and 6pm Their address is 148 Barnwood Dr, Edgewood, KY 41017 (859) 341-9999

Course Preview

You can get a preview of the route on MapMyRide. The 5K starts at the Independence Firehouse and proceeds on the southbound lane of "Old Madison" then the turnaround is between Aristocrat and the Post Office. You can see the exact course, elevation and mile markers. You can even send the route to your smartphone!
