About the Event
Join us for The Naturalist Trail Race on Saturday, October 4, 2025. This event features both a 25K and a 50K course, showcasing the beautiful trails of Franklin, NC. Runners will start at 8 AM, embarking on a journey through the historical trails traversed by William Bartram in the 1700s.
Event Details
- Limited to 150 racers (combined for 25k & 50k)
- Cut-off points at approximately mile 9, 15.5, and 21
- Multiple aid stations with hydration and nutrition available
- Post-race celebration with food trucks, live music, and awards!
Race Information
Racers should be prepared for significant elevation gain with over 5,500 feet for 25K and over 8,500 feet for 50K. Participants are encouraged to carry at least 1 liter of water during the climb.
